Copic Cards

I had some time last night to play with my copics. After taking a class I decided to invest in them. Here are two cards that I finished last night. The digital stamps can be found at

Although it doesn’t show good in the pics the tile on the floor and the glass block window have a shiny look. To create the look of the blocks I used vellum for the window and white cardstock for the floor. Using the Martha Stewart scoreboard I scored it into small squares and then I embossed it with UTEE to give it that shiny look.

More t-shirts

For the Time Out Thursday this week over at Platinum Scraps I decided to display more of the shirts I made for our trip to the Sesame Street Safari of Fun at Busch Gardens.

Families are Forever

This week over at Platinum Scraps each designer had to complete a layout of their choice with 3 black and white photos and 3 monochromatic embellishments. The embellishments could be buttons, brads, ribbons, cuts, etc. This is my take on the layout.

Copic Creations

I have been wanting to try out Copics for awhile but was quite confused about them. That all changed today when I went to the Copic classess offered at a LSS. I learned about the different markers, the coding, and blending. I think I may get a few to try them out. My hubby gave me some money to get some but do I get them or the new Martha Stewart Carts? Decisions, decisions. Here are the cards we made today practicing the different techniques.

Sesame Street Shirt

My family and I will be visiting Busch Gardens soon and they have a new Sesame Street area so I made this shirt for my daughter. I used three different kinds of heat transfer vinyl in this one, the siser easyweed, glitter, and flocked vinyl. All cuts are from the Sesame Street Friends Cricut Cartridge. Sorry the lighting is kinda bad, my bulb went out and I haven’t made it to the store yet.

Diving Board Daredevil

This is my take on the sketch posted over on Platinum Scraps. It is my daughter getting ready to jump off the diving board during her swim lessons.
